(UPDATED) Changes In YoVille Leave Players Wondering…

Are YoVillians about to receive some good news?

UPDATE: Players are now reporting that the tabs at the top of the game screen have gone again, and that both the auction house and buddy list are working again. Having checked in game, it looks as though VIP is back as well.

Strange things are happening in YoVille, leaving players wondering what is going on. YoRehab decided to investigate further and Agent Alby took a look.

To start with, the tabs at the top of the screen are back but, apart from the ‘play’ tab, are as yet non-operational. Then, over to the right of the game screen, the auction house tab is missing and the buddy tab does not work. In game itself, the VIP section is missing. Players are also reporting that the pop-up about the game closing has gone, and that new player accounts can be made.

Now this in itself, has got YoVillians scratching their heads, but there is more…

It may just be a wild coincidence, but YoRehab has also discovered that Zynga is planning on making some sort of announcement on Monday:

Zynga to Present at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – February 21, 2014 – Zynga Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) announced today that Don Mattrick, Chief Executive Officer, will present at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco. The session is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. Pacific Time / 3:45 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, March 3, 2014.

To access the live audio webcast of the session, please visit http://investor.zynga.com/

Add to that the fact that Big Viking Games are planning on hiring a lot of new staff, and it’s no wonder that YoVillians are starting to get excited. Threads are being started in the Discussions forum, asking what is going on, but so far there has been no response from Zynga. Having said that, it is very unlikely that either company will say anything until everything is down in legal black and white.

As soon as we hear more we will let players know. Until then, keep those fingers, toes and everything else crossed!

YoVillians, are you feeling excited at the prospect of YoVille finally behing sold? Perhaps you prefer to believe it when you see it? Whatever your thoughts, please share them with us in the comment box below before liking and sharing this article. Thank you for continuing to support both YoVille and YoRehab.
